Mons Royale was founded in 2009 by a freeride skier and a designer. With roots in high-country sheep farming and a respect for the elements, their mission was simple: create high-performance Merino apparel and move the world beyond oil-based synthetics.
Today, Mons continues to push boundaries. They’re driving change in an industry dominated by plastics, choosing progression over perfection to rid outdoor apparel of synthetics. From their Growers Club network of New Zealand Merino farmers to their world-class manufacturing partners, they’re constantly raising the bar for natural fibre performance.
